In a structure of supporting a planar article such as a solar panel, a plurality of vertical frame members 11 are disposed and fixed on base parts 10 roughly in parallel and in an inclined shape at a prescribed angle, and the solar panel can be arrayed and fixed longitudinally and laterally on an upper surface of the vertical frame members 11. The base parts 10 have the almost same height respectively, and are lined in a direction roughly orthogonal to the vertical frame members 11. The vertical frame members 11 are supported to the base parts 10 by a plurality of support frames 12. The support frames 12 are radially disposed from the upper side of the respective base parts 10, and arrayed such that the side face view shape thereof is roughly a truss shape. A long-shaped member of roughly L-shaped cross-sectional shape is used for the vertical frame members and the support frames 12. Brace frames 15 are disposed between the support frames 12 supported to the respective base parts 10 and vertically erected in the almost vertical direction and the support frames 12 vertically erected on the same base part 10 adjacently to them.
