To allow an upper plate attached to a lower plate by an axis at their end sections for a table plate to be designed freely in size and shape by making the upper plate freely movable on the lower plate in such a way that the upper plate can be totally placed on the lower plate, or freely placed at a slightly extended position by sliding the upper plate or at a largely extended position by rotating the upper plate horizontally.
A table plate 1 is of double structure consisting of an upper plate 2 and a lower plate 3 which are attached to each other by an axis 4 at end sections 21 and 31 of the upper and lower plates 2 and 3. The upper plate 2 can be rotated 360° on the lower plate 3 around the axis 4, and also slid by, for example 25 to 30cm, in the longitudinal direction. The upper plate 2 can be totally placed on the lower plate 3, or freely placed at a slightly extended position 2' by sliding the upper plate 2 on the lower plate 3 or at a largely extended position 2" by rotating the upper plate 2. The upper plate 2 is moved on the lower plate 3 without being affected by any object under the lower plate 3, making size and shape of the upper plate 2 unrestricted.
