Title:
STRUCTURE OF TEMPLE MOUNTING PART OF SPECTACLE FRAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002006261
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make assembly simpler, a manufacturing cost lower and the weight over the entire part lighter.

The outer edges of a frame are integrally provided with U-shaped mounting parts 2 and pins 7 are disposed between two mounting parts 3 and 3 facing each other of the mounting parts 2. On the other hand, the front ends of temples are integrally provided with hooks 10 and the pins 7 of the mounting parts 2 are freely turnably fitted into holes 11 of the hooks 10. Since there is no need for mounting the hinge between the frame and the temples, the assembly is simplified and the manufacturing cost may be reduced. Also, the need for limiting the parts, such as the frames and temples, to those of the sizes, shapes and materials to allow mounting of the hinges and therefore the fine and thin formation of these parts is made possible and the reduction of the weight over the entire part may be obtained.
