Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically carry out the winding of rovings at a proper shoulder angle corresponding to a change, if any, in spinning conditions without the need of determining the shoulder angle corresponding to a change, if any, in the weight of the spun rovings or the kind of fiber due to a change in the spinning conditions.
CONSTITUTION: A roving frame is capable of optionally changing over a changeover period of lifting, lowering and driving of a bobbin rail lifting, lowering and driving system by a command from a controller. A proper shoulder angle corresponding to the weight of spun rovings and the kind of fiber inputted by an inputting device is selected from a database and set by the controller. The lifting and lowering reversing position of the bobbin rail so as to provide the selected shoulder angle in spinning operation is then calculated by the controller. Furthermore, the position of the bobbin rail in the vertical directions is computed based on a signal from a rotary encoder by the controller. Thereby, the lifting and lowering changeover of the bobbin rail is controlled so as to reverse the bobbin rail at the lifting and lowering reversing position.
