Abstract:
PURPOSE: To apply high voltage and high amperage to electrodes and to improve performance.
CONSTITUTION: A wet-type electric precipitator in which particles in a dust space are caught by a dust collecting electrode 14 by applying electric power to a discharge electrode, and the electrode 14 is washed by a spray ejected from a nozzle 28 attached above is equipped with multistage discharge electrodes (an upside discharge electrode 10 and a downside discharge electrode 12) which are divided into many stages in the washing direction and direct current high voltage power sources 16a, 16b, 22a, 22b which apply electric power independently to the upside electrode 10 and the downside electrode 12.
