Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of the improvement of the controllability of a vehicle and the comfort in riding, and the stabilization to a high degree by largely determining a ratio of the spring rigidity in the perpendicular direction and that in the prying direction.
SOLUTION: In an inner cylindrical fitting 12 and an outer cylindrical fitting 14 elastically connected by a cylindrical rubber elastic body 16, opposite surfaces of the inner cylindrical fitting 12 and the outer cylindrical fitting 14 are oppositely located in the perpendicular direction at an axial central part, and oppositely located in the direction inclined toward the axially oblique outward from the inner cylindrical fitting 12 at axial both side parts over the opposite part in the perpendicular direction. Whereby the compression/tensile force is applied to the cylindrical rubber elastic body 16 between the opposite surfaces in the perpendicular direction in the input of the horizontal load, on the other hand, the shearing force is applied not only between the opposite surfaces in the perpendicular direction, but also to the opposite surface in the inclined direction in the input of the load in the prying direction.
