PURPOSE: To attain compactness by constructing a strut mount in such a way that an oscillating member is slided/oscillated on the recessed spherical inner peripheral face of a holding member by the external force in the rotational or inclining direction acting upon the shaft of an suspension arm or the like so as to absorb displacement.
CONSTITUTION: In the strut mount of a vehicular suspension arm, a bearing member 4 is provided with an oscillating member 40 having a protruding spherical outer peripheral face 402 and a resin made holding member 42 having a recessed spherical inner peripheral face 422 for holding the outer peripheral face 402 slidably. When outer force in the rotational or inclining direction acts upon a shaft 7, the oscillating member 40 is oscillated to absorb displacement. Since the holding member 42 is integrally formed on the inner peripheral face of an inner cylinder member 2, sufficient strength and desirable sliding performance can be obtained. The holding member 42 is further provided with a fluorine fiber layer 421 on the inner peripheral face 422 so as to smoothen the sliding motion of the oscillating member 40. Sufficient strength is thus secured while attaining compactness, and also the oscillation of the bearing part can be performed smoothly.
