To provide a strut type suspension device which can be mounted, without restricting a vehicle design, by reducing a full height of the device.
An upper support 4 includes: an inner tube member 11 disposed at an outer peripheral side of a shock absorber 10; an outer tube member 12 concentric with the inner tube member 11 and disposed at an outer peripheral side of the inner tube member 11; a rubber-like elastic body 16 disposed between the inner tube member 11 and the outer tube member 12 for connecting both the members; and an upper track member 13 fixed to the shock absorber 10. In the inner tube member 11, a lower bearing ring 36 extending inwardly in a radial direction is formed in a lower end in an axial direction. The upper track member 13 is formed to be annular substantially, and an upper bearing ring 22 extending outward in the radial direction is formed. The lower bearing ring 36 is abutted to a top face of an upper spring sheet 20, the upper bearing ring 22 and the lower bearing ring 36 are disposed while being confronted with each other and between the upper bearing ring 22 and the lower bearing ring 36, a bearing 50 is provided which is configured by interposing a plurality of rolling elements 51.
