PURPOSE: To obtain a strut type front wheel suspension in which the strut of the outer front wheel is inclined rearward corresponding to a sinking of a car body, and the variation of the outer front wheel being steered to the positive side of the camber angle to the earth is reduced, in a turning operation.
CONSTITUTION: The upper end 1a of the strut is installed to a car body 13 through a crank 12, and the car body side fulcrum 14 of the crank is positioned at the front side from a line combining the crank side connecting point 15 of the strut and a lower ball joint 6, and the crank 12 is supported elastically by a tortion bar 19 in the rotating direction. When the car body 13 sinks, the crank 12 is rotated against the tortion bar 19 so as to incline the strut 1 rearward by the offset of the positions 14 and 15, the variation of the outer front wheel 11 being steered to the positive side of the canber angle to the earth is reduced, and the turning performance can be improved.
