Abstract:

To stably hold a stupa within a stupa stand.

The stupa stand is provided with at least a pair of right and left supports 11 and 11, a support body 12 erected in a prescribed position between the supports 11 and 11, and a placement base 14 whereon the lower end of the stupa A installed in a standing manner is made to abut. The support body 12 is formed, in an approximate ladder shape, of paired horizontal sash bars 12a and 12b, which span the supports 11 and 11 in such a manner as to be alienated from each other in a width direction, and a partition material 12c for partitioning a gap, which is formed between the sash bars 12a and 12b, throughout the length of the gap. In the placement base 14, a placement surface 14a, whereon the stupa A is made to abut, is formed so as to have a prescribed angle of gradient and an approximately triangular cross section.
