Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a stylus from being exposed under unexpected motion and being affected by pressure by providing the stylus to sense pressure loaded in the breadthwise direction of a housing.
CONSTITUTION: A stylus 20 is provided with a pressure sensitive side part switch 22 and the side part switch 22 is activated by power or pressure applied from the side of a housing 24. The switch 22 is provided with a movable element 40, which activates the switch 22 by being pushed down perpendicularly to a core 36, at the core 36. The stylus 20 is grasped just like grasping a pen, the movable element 40 is pushed down by a forefinger, and the side part switch 22 is turned on.
