To provide a styrenic resin composition for a foamed sheet allowing expansion of thermoforming conditions (reduction in a forming area or heating time) while keeping conventional mechanical strength of a foamed sheet used for molding a container and the like, and to provide a foamed sheet composed of the styrenic resin composition and a foamed container.
The styrenic resin composition for a foamed sheet contains a styrenic resin and a foaming agent. The styrenic resin includes a resin obtained by copolymerizing a multiply branched macromonomer (a1) having a double bond on the branch end, a styrenic monomer (a2), and an acrylic ester (a3) together while setting a using ratio (a2)/(a3) of the styrenic monomer (a2) to the acrylic ester (a3) to be from 98/2 to 85/15 (a mass ratio). The foamed sheet obtained from the above styrenic resin composition and the foamed container obtained by postforming of the foamed sheet are also provided.
