Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrenic resin extruded foam having excellent recyclability, heat stability, flame retardancy and heat insulation property, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The styrenic resin extruded foam is obtained by using a styrenic resin and a foaming agent and performing extrusion foaming, and includes, as flame retarder, (A) a brominated styrene-butadiene copolymer and (B) a compound having a 2,3-dibromo-2-alkyl-propyl group and/or a compound having 2,3-dibromopropyl group, where the content of a mixture of the (A) and (B) is 0.5-5 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the styrenic resin. The styrenic resin extruded foam passes the combustion test defined by JIS A9511, or has an oxygen index of 26% or more.
