PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sub-capsule molten salt heat storage material endurable against high temperature.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a sub-capsule molten salt heat storage material comprising SiC honeycomb union composed of a plurality of SiC honeycomb units in which flow passages are formed by partition walls having capsules composed of fine holes and adhered to each other by adhering layers and comprising molten salt set in the capsule and the flow passage. Since the sub-capsule molten salt heat storage material using SiC honeycomb uses SiC having heat endurance of 1200°C and corrosion resistance, it can be used up to a high temperature by changing the kind of molten salt [including eutectic mixtures].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
