Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indirect gas engine that is excellent in ignition stability. SOLUTION: A nozzle 1 is provided with an external thread 2 over the stem middle and is fastened to an internal thread in a cylinder head. The axial center of the nozzle 1 is a hollow hole 3, one end of which opens onto a nozzle head 4 or a divided chamber. The other end forms nozzle orifices 5 and opens onto a main combustion chamber. The surface of the nozzle head 4 has a cross recess 6 of a proper depth that includes the axial-center hollow hole 3 and in which a mounting tool for mounting and dismounting the nozzle 1 is fitted. An existent general-purpose tool can be fitted, and a premixed mixture passed up in the nozzle orifices 5 and the hollow hole 3 in a compression stroke of the main chamber is evenly dispersed over the nozzle head 4. The dispersion has an effect of stabilizing the density distribution of rich fuel and the premixed mixture in the divided chamber.
