Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sub-engine type refrigeration unit for transportation applying a heat pump heating system capable of easily preventing re-freezing of drain water in a defrosting operation by utilizing an existing apparatus without additionally disposing a special freezing prevention mechanism.SOLUTION: In a sub-engine type refrigeration unit 1 for transportation including a unit main body 2 partitioned by a partitioning plate 3 into a refrigeration unit compartment 4 at an upper portion and an engine compartment 5 at a lower portion, a sub-engine 16 for driving a heat pump-type refrigeration unit, disposed in the engine compartment 5, and at least an outside component of the heat pump type refrigeration unit 7 disposed in the refrigeration unit compartment 4, a drain pan 6 receiving drain water dropping from an outside heat exchanger 10 of the heat pump-type refrigeration unit 7 is configured by the partitioning plate 3, and an auxiliary machine 20 for an engine for discharging combustion exhaust heat of the sub-engine 16 is disposed along a lower face of the drain pan 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
