Abstract:
To realize a favorable oscillator in a sub-millimeter wave/terra-hertz band which has conventionally lacked a decisive factor in it.
This oscillator is formed of a semiconductor bulk or a microstructure which receives mixed light and is able to detect the input light in a form of real carrier generation or pseudo carrier generation, and is provided with a signal generating part for outputting a multiplexed signal of the input signal by making the frequency of an envelope of the mixed light smaller than a mode frequency of what is called L-mode among phonon-plasmon modes generated inside.
