To provide a subcool type condenser permitting easy replacement of a drying agent housed in a liquid refrigerant temporary storage section and capable of being manufactured at a low cost.

The subcool type condenser having a plurality of heat exchange tubes parallelly extended between two headers is divided into a refrigerant condensing core for condensing the refrigerant, and a subcool core for further subcooling the refrigerant condensed in the refrigerant condensing core. The liquid refrigerant temporary storage section is provided in an inlet side of the subcool core, and a desiccant is replaceably housed in the temporary storage section. An end at the side of the temporary storage section through which the desiccant is replaced has a compressively-formed plate-shaped flange joined thereto, and the flange is provided with at least a flange and an engaging part to be engaged with the end. A lid is detachably fixed on the flange.
