To provide a subcooling type condenser for stabilizing an SC value of a condenser outlet section, and securing high COP.
In the subcooling type condenser in which a heat exchange core section is divided into a condensation core section for condensing a refrigerant, and a subcooling core section for further supercooling the refrigerant condensed by the condensation core section, a total circuit cross-sectional area in the subcooling core section is a first value indicating an inflection point or more in a graph representing the relationship between the total circuit cross-sectional area and a subcooling value as an index of a degree of achievement of supercooling at an outlet of the subcooling core section, and is a second value indicating an inflection point in a graph representing the relationship between the total circuit cross-sectional area and coefficient of performance per circuit cross-section of the subcooling core section, in a performance test of a system incorporating the subcooling type condenser.
