Title:
SUBLIMATION THEMAL TRANSFER RECORDING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000158830
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To express a metallic color on a full color image by existing a metallic gloss layer or a light diffusion layer on a lower layer of a dye acceptive layer on a surface of an image receiving sheet.

An image receiving sheet 61 is constituted by forming a metallic gloss layer 2 on an image receiving sheet base 1 and further forming a dye acceptive layer 3 on the layer 2. The layer 2 is obtained by dispersively mixing metal powder in a resin. As metal powders, generally, as silver powder, aluminum powder is used, and as gold powder, brass powder is used. An ink obtained by mixing and dispersing resin with metal powder is printed on an image receiving sheet base 1 to form the layer 2 on an arbitrary place. Instead of the layer 2, a light diffusing and reflecting layer may be provided. As the light diffusing and reflecting layer, a white light diffusing and reflecting layer obtained by mixing and dispersing a white filler such as, for example, ground shell with or in resin is preferably used, and a reflecting effect similar to that of the layer 2 can be incorporated.
