Title:
SUBMARINE HOSE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001012661
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the stick of a marine organism to a hose surface by mounting plural straps on a hose surface so that at least their one part is contacted together with the hose surface.

Plural straps 2 are mounted on the arbitrary place of the outer surface of a submarine hose 1 and at least one part of the straps 2 is arranged so as to contact together with a hose surface. This submarine hose 1 prevents the stick of the marine organism such as a shellfish by the swing of respective straps 2 by a tidal stream in the sea and the contact with the hose surface. As the wider the contact area between the hose surface and strap 2 is, the narrower the stick area of the marine organism becomes, it is desiable that the installation place and number of the strap 2 select the range in which the evil by the stick of the marine organism is not generated properly in response to the form and length of a submarine hose 1. Favorably, the installation place and number of the strap 2 are decided so that the marine organism is not stuck on the entire hose surface.
