Abstract:

PURPOSE: To decrease the current needed for a sound source and to eliminate the danger, by using a piezo-oscillating element having a metallic resonance plate with water resistance to a submarine sound source.

CONSTITUTION: The signals supplied from a signal source 1 are supplied to contacts 5 and 7. Then a piezo-oscillator 6 oscillates in response to those signals. The oscillation is enlarged by a metallic resonance plate 4. A water-resistant insulator 8 is covered around the oscillator 6, and therefore the oscillator 6 can work satisfactorily even in the water. The current can be resuced to drive the oscillator 6 although high voltage is needed. This decreases danger in the water.
