Title:
SUBMERGED ARC WELDING METHOD FOR CR-MO LOW ALLOY STEEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP01210193
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a good weld zone after the SR for short and long times by combining the wire contg. the specified amt. of C, Si, Mn, Cr, Mo and V and the flux contg. the specified amt. of CaF2, SiO2, CaO, MgO and Al2O3.
CONSTITUTION: In a wire 0.10W0.18% C, 0.01W0.15% Si, 0.50W1.20% Mn, 1.80W3.80% Cr, 0.80W1.30% Mo and 0.30W0.70% V are contained. In a flux 35W60% CaF, 3W15% SiO2, 0.8W20% CaO, 1W15% MgO and 15W35% Al2O3 are contained. The submerged arc welding of a Cr-Mo low alloy steel is performed by combining this wire and flux. The performance of the weld zone of after the SR is improved with this method.
