Abstract:
To provide a submerged pump capable of restraining clogging of a vent hole caused by a foreign matter.SOLUTION: A submerged pump includes an electric motor, a pump casing 6 disposed below the electric motor and having a substantially cylindrical storage part 62 extending in a vertical direction in an upper side thereof, and an impeller 5 stored in the storage part 62 of the pump casing 6 and connected to a rotating shaft 41 of the electric motor. A vent hole 622 penetrating in a horizontal direction is provided in the storage part 62 of the pump casing 6, a float 81 is arranged in the storage part 62 of the pump casing 6, and the float 81 is held so as to be movable between a floatation limit position facing the vent hole 622 and a descent limit position downwardly separated from the vent hole 622 in a state of being close to an inner wall surface 623 of the storage part 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
