To provide a submerged motor-driven pump which can automatically accurately stop to efficiently operate.SOLUTION: A submerged motor-driven pump 3a, 3b includes a submerged motor-driven pump body 31, a control part 32 which controls an operation of the submerged motor-driven pump body 31, and a communication part 33 which is provided in the submerged motor-driven pump body 31 and mutually carries out radio communication with another communication part. The control part 32 is configured so as to control an operation of the submerged motor-driven pump body 31 on the basis of variation of a signal strength of the radio communication between the communication part 33 and the other communication part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
