Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a subscriber's interface device capable of quickly and highly reliably connecting a tester or the like to a line cable and quickly detecting a line failure. CONSTITUTION: The subscriber's interface circuit (subscriber's interface box) 2 is provided with a line part 12 and a subscriber part 14. The line part 12 is connected to a line cable 4 and the subscriber part 14 is connected to subscriber cables 6, 8. The device 2 has levers 38, 40 to quickly switch the cables 6, 8. The device 2 includes also a test socket 16 and can isolate the failure of the line by inserting a test plug 110 into a plug receiving cavity 92 without removing a cover means.
