Abstract:
Mass transfer unit and/or heat exchanger, comprising a bundle of hollow fibres (1) of essentially the same length, the ends of which are embedded in a cast mass (5) and an essentially cylindrical shell having connection branches (9; 10; 11; 12) for feed and discharge of at least two media, the first medium being fed through the hollow fibres (1) and the second medium being fed radially inwards at the flow inlet (11) of the shell (8) and radially outwards at the flow outlet (12), the shell comprises an essentially tubular body (8) and two caps (6; 7), a support element (2), which has at least one through hole each of which is connected to the through hole connected to the second distributor space, being arranged between the hollow fibre bundle (1) and the shell casing (8).
