The substance containing glucose or a glucose polymer and nutrients or animal or plant raw materials is obtained by adding nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as the nutritive elements or the animal or plant raw materials in an arbitrary ratio to the glucose or glucose polymer. The substance can prevent the inner degradation, overheating, oxidation or putrefaction of fresh foods by their inner nutrient consumption due to the interaction of the glucose or glucose polymer with an organic acid, and further control the supply of oxygen to change cells into dormant states.
