Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an artificial milk, good in digestibility and absorbability and useful as a substitute milk for livestock such as a calf or a piglet by specifying the contents of 2-palmitoyl-1,3-dioleylglycerol and a trisaturated triglyceride in a fat.
CONSTITUTION: This substitute milk for livestock is obtained by regulating the total content of 2-palmitoyl-1,3-diolecylglycerol in a fat to 8-16wt.% and the total content of a trisaturated type triglycerides including stearic acid in the fat to ≤2wt.%. Thereby, the digestibility and absorbability are improved and the resultant substituted milk is useful as a substitute milk for livestock in a suckling period.
