Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (R1 is H, lower alkyl; R2, R3 are lower alkyl, aralkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, heterocyclic group, or they may incorporate to form alkylene group).

EXAMPLE: 3-(1,3-Dithiethane-2-ylidene)-2,4-hexanedione.

USE: A remedy for hepatopathy.

PREPARATION: A base such as sodium hydroxide and carbon disulfide are allowed to act on a β-diketone of formula II in a polar solvent to form a ketene mercaptide of formula III, which is allowed to react with a dihalogenomethane of formula IV at 0°C to room temperature for 0.5W3hr to give the compound of formula I.
