NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I [R1 is an aryl, aralkyl or heteroaryl; R2 is hydroxy, amino, an alkoxy or an alkylamino; R3 is H, a halogen, hydroxy, an alkyl, an alkoxy, amino, etc., X is N or -CH; Y is N or -CR4 (R4 is H, a halogen, cyano, an alkyl, etc.); Z is N or -CR5 (R5 is H, a halogen, an alkyl, etc.)].
EXAMPLE: N'-(4,6-Dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)-N"-(2-propoxycarbonyl- phenylsulfonylamino)-N"-(2-methoxycarbonyl-phenylsulfinyl)-guanidine.
USE: Herbicides.
PROCESS: The compound of formula I can be obtained, for example, by reacting a compound of formula II (A is a leaving group) with a compound of formula III.
