Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I (R1, R2 are C1-6 alkyl; R3 is 4- chlorophenyl, cyanophenyl, C1-6 alkyl, 6-membered heteroaromatic ring, substituted benzoxazolyl or the like; n is 0, 1, 2).
EXAMPLE: 1-(Diethylaminocarboxyl)-3-(4-chloro-benzylthio)-1H-1,2,4-triazole.
USE: Herbicide. Particularly effective for control of monocotyledonous weed in a rice plant. Having activity as insecticide, acaricide, fungicide and bactericide.
PROCESS: Substituted triazole of formula II, or a tautomer of the compound of formula II is reacted with carbamoyl chloride of formula III in the presence of acid acceptor (for example; NaOH) as needed, in an inert organic solvent (example; methylene chloride) at 0-150°C, to obtain the compound of formula I.
