EXAMPLE: m-Phenoxybenzyl 2,2-dimethyl-3-(2',2'-,2'-trichloroethyl)cyclopropanecarboxylate.
USE: insecticide, acaricide or their intermediate: these compounds are low-toxicity to warm-blood animals and have remarkable insecticide and acaricide activity against harmful insects in farms and gardens and mites.
PREPARATION: The reaction between the compound of formula V and the compound of formula VI (R5 is lower alkyl) gives an intermediate of formula I where R1 is R5, which is converted to H or a reactive derivative. Then R1-B (B is OH, halogen) is reacted with the reactive derivative to obtain the objective compound of formula I
