NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I (wherein R1 is a 1-2C alkyl, 2-12C alkenyl or 3-7C cycloalkyl which may be substituted with phenyl, naphthyl, a cycloalkyl or the like of a monocyclic or bicyclic aromatic group; R2 and R3 are each a 1-6C alkyl or they may form a ring together with the N; X is methylene, S, O, sulfoxide or the like; (n) is 0-2; (k) is 0-3; R4 is a halogen, a 1-6C alkyl, an alkoxyl, OH or the like; (m) is 0-3; and R5 is halogen, a 1-4C alkyl, an alkoxyl, OH or the like) and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
EXAMPLE: 1-[3-(2-Methylpropyloxy)-2-pyrrolidinopropyl]-2-phenylindoline.
USE: A therapeutic agent against heart diseases and diseases of the circulatory system.
PREPARATION: A compound of formula II is reacted with a compound of formula III at 40°C to the reflux temperature in the presence of e.g. NaOH in a solvent (e.g. DMF).
