Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I [X is O, S; R1, R2 are each H, a halogen, CN, NO2, an alkyl, an aralkyl, an aryl, an alkylcarbonyl, an alkoxy, formation of a carbon cyclic ring with adjacent C atom, in which hetero atom can be included at all times; R3 is a (substituted) alkyl, phenyl; R4 is H, an alkyl, R3 and R4 are each a heterocyclic 5-6 membered ring with adjacent N atom].
USE: Expellent for pathogenic internal parasites such as tapeworms, trematoda, eelworms, acanthocepharae or the like.
PREPARATION: A thienopyrane of formula II (for example; 8-methyl- thieno-[3,2]-7-hydroxypyran-5-one, or the like) is reacted with an iso (thio) cyanate of the formula X=C=N-R3.
