PURPOSE: To provide the substrate of a card-shaped document, the increase of the number of processes of which is minimized without needing special adhesives, in which creases and warpage are difficult to be generated and which has excellent abrasion resistance and requires genuineness, in the substrate of the card-shaped document, in which conductive fibers are included.

CONSTITUTION: The substrate of a card-shaped document, in which a thermoplastic base material is laminated on at least one surface of a sheet-shaped structure composed of one kind or more of fibers having no conductivity and fibers having conductivity through heat fusion and which needs genuineness, is provided.
