Abstract:
To provide a substrate for an image recording material which is free from the gloss unevenness and glare of a surface and excellent in sharpness, and the image recording material and a medium for inkjet recording which use the substrate.
The substrate for the image recording material has a base coated with a polyolefin resin on both sides. The base is constituted of coated paper or a white film, and the surface of the polyolefin resin coating the base on the side whereon an image receiving layer is provided is constituted of an embossed roughened surface. The image recording material and the medium for inkjet recording which use the substrate are disclosed.
