Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of improving manufacturing efficiency of an oxide superconducting wire by carrying out a treatment of exposing an oxide superconducting layer to an atmospheric gas in a short time in a treatment chamber, such as an oxygen introduction treatment to an oxide superconducting layer or a calcination treatment and a firing treatment in an MOD (metal organic deposition) method upon manufacturing an oxide superconducting wire.SOLUTION: A long substrate for an oxide superconducting wire is provided to manufacture an oxide superconducting wire by forming an oxide superconducting layer on a surface of the substrate. The back surface side of the substrate for an oxide superconducting wire is subjected to a rugged pattern imparting treatment to form a gap for circulating external air when the oxide superconducting wires are stacked. An oxide superconducting wire is provided, which has an oxide superconducting layer formed on a top surface of the substrate for an oxide superconducting wire.
