Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a substrate which is a substrate for paper making, has woven flat yarns in the longitudinal direction and a controlled permeability, without using a bulky stuffed yarn and without causing troubles in strength or stability, is constituted wholly of a monofilament yarn and has low permeability.
SOLUTION: This industrial substrate 20 for paper making has opposing ends provided with a system of flat monofilament (MD) yarns 22, 23, 24 and 25 in the longitudinal direction woven in a system of a yarn 21a in the processing crossing direction. The MD yarns are provided with the lower MD yarn 23 adjusted backward by a fixed distance from the end part of the substrate, a pair of the vertically adjusted upper MD yarns 22 and 24 and a pair of the lower MD yarns 23 and 25 and a series of perpendicularly intersecting ring-shaped parts are formed on each end part of a substrate from the upper MD yarn 22. The lower MD yarn 23 forms a ring shape at the rear and is directly woven right under the CMD yarn 21a in a space formed by the lower MD yarn 23.
