PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel subtilase variants.SOLUTION: The invention relates to variants of parent subtilase having high wash performance in comparison with Savinase. The invention also relates to DNA encoding the subtilase variants, expression vectors, a method for producing subtilase variants using Bacillus, yeast, or filamentous fungi as the host cell, compositions including the variant enzymes, and use of the compositions in cloth-washing or dish-washing detergents.
