Title:
SUCKING NOZZLE FOR ELECTRIC CLEANER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0284919
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain floor cleaning to be easily handled by automatically turning a floor nozzle when the floor nozzle collides with an obstacle and recovering this turning to an original position when the floor nozzle is separated from the obstacle.

CONSTITUTION: A nodal cam 14 is provided in a floor nozzle 10 side and a nodal spring 16 is provided in a sucking tube 12 side. The nodal cam 14 is shaped almost cylindrically and in an upper side, four cams, which are inclining surfaces in a tube axis direction, are formed on the end face of the tube. For the nodal spring 16 of the sucking tube 12, V-shaped spring 16a and 16b are engaged with triangle recessing grooves 14a and 14b of the cam 14 and the both the spring and groove keep a stational condition that the V-shaped spring is engaged with the triangle recessing groove by prescribed holding force with the energizing force of the spring 16. When the floor nozzle 10 collides with the obstacle and collision force is a prescribed value, the cam 14 deforms the spring 16 and the floor nozzle 10 can be turned to the sucking tube 12. When the obstacle and floor nozzle 10 are separated, an initial position is recovered again by the return energizing force of the spring 16.
