Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suck dust without damaging any furniture or the like by providing a sucking port body with a cleaning member composed of a soft and thick member having air permeability, disposed in a side facing a main body case and formed around a suction opening to be protruded more than this suction opening.
SOLUTION: An inlet body attached to the tip of the suction hose of a vacuum cleaner comprises a main body case and a cleaning member 30. The main body case is made of a synthetic resin, and the suction hose is fitted in a connection pipe 24 formed in the center of its upper wall 21. In a surface facing the cleaned surface of the upper wall 21, a cylindrical member 26 is projectingly fitted as a sealing preventing member so as to surround an opening 28. The cleaning member 30 includes a soft and thick member having air permeability, and a through hole 31 is formed in its center to be fitted to the outer periphery of the cylindrical member 25. Then, by fitting the through hole 31 and a fitting hole 32 in the cylindrical member 25 and the pin 26 of the main body case, the cleaning member 30 is fixed to the main body case so as to be detached.
