Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sucking catheter assembly wherein danger to expand a sleeve is decreased without any contact with contaminated substances by a user. CONSTITUTION: A sucking catheter assembly has a sucking catheter 1 sealed along its length within a protective sleeve 2. The catheter 1 extends from a vacuum connecting member 3, and the vacuum connecting member is connected with a sucking source 5. A patient connecting member 4 is connected with a trachea tube 7 and has two side ports 46, 47 connected with a ventilation device. A one-directional valve in the patient connecting member 4 gets out gas contained in the sleeve 2 into the patient connecting member when the catheter 1 forwards.
