To provide a suction cleaner for floors which enables rotating of a rotary brush efficiently with a simple structure.
The suction cleaner for floors is provided with a suction cleaner body 1 having a suction port 7 on the undersurface thereof, a rotary brush housing chamber 8 formed within the suction cleaner body 1, a joint pipe 6 linked with the rotary brush housing chamber 8 almost at the central position across the width of the suction cleaner body 1 and a rotary brush 11 which is made to face the suction port 7 to be rotatably housed into the rotary brush housing chamber 8. A guide port 30 is so formed on the suction device body 1 to supply outside air to the rotary brush 11 by positioning the bottom surface of the suction cleaner body 1 above other bottom surface parts.
