PURPOSE: To reduce the running resistance of a wall surface moving robot, and improve the movability, etc., of the wall surface moving robot by reducing the frictional resistance of a suction cup while ensuring the sealability of the suction cup.
CONSTITUTION: On the confronting side with a wall surface of the main body 2 of a wall surface moving robot 1 which moves on a wall surface by driving wheels 3-6 while attaching to the wall surface K by a suction cup 15, the suction cup 15 is provided along the outer peripheral edge of the wall surface moving robot 1. The suction cup 15 is equipped with a rubber sheet 15A with a flexibility, which is provided along the outer peripheral edge of the main body part 2 on the confronted side with the wall surface, and an entrainment preventive plate 15B which is provided in the arranging direction of the rubber sheet 15A.
