Abstract:
PURPOSE: To achieve higher mobility of the main body of a suction device by arranging a low resistance member at a position largest in resistance to a surface to be cleaned, namely almost at the center behind the opening of the main body of the suction device.
CONSTITUTION: A mounting groove 6 is provided on the rear end side of an opening 2 of the main body 1 of a suction device and a brush body 7 is fitted into the mounting groove 6 to be fastened with a screw. A brush 8 is arranged at the brush body 7 and sticks out toward a surface to be cleaned to rake out dirts from a joint of boards of a flooring or the like, a threshold or the like while it prevents the leaking of air through a gap between the surface to be cleaned and the main body 1 of the suction device. A grasping part 9 is formed at the rear end part of the brush body 7 and a slip plate 10 is made of a low resistance member such as olefin based resin to be arranged behind the brush body 7 of the main body 1 of the suction device. One end of the slip plate is engaged with the rear end of a lower case 3 while the other end is retained with the grasping part 10 of the brush body 7. In this manner the slip plate is mounted on the bottom surface of the main body 1 of the suction device. The arrangement of the slip plate 10 at the center behind the opening 2 improves mobility of the main body 1 of the suction device.
