To connect a fan shaft of a suction device to a motor drive shaft of a hand tool device through a rotation transmitting element by friction, to absorb rotation shock and deviation of the tolerance in dimension, and to avoid abrasion.
This suction device 2 can be detachably attached to the hand tool device 4. A suction fan 20 for generating a suction air stream is provided in a suction passage S, the suction fan is driven by the fan shaft 26, and the fan shaft 26 is connected to a drive shaft 42 of the hand tool shaft 4 through a rotation transmission joint 38 so as to be rotated, or is held on a suction housing 10 by a rolling bearing 28. The rotation transmission joint 38 is the joint for causing frictional coupling for rotationally transmitting in the connection state of the fan shaft 26 and the drive shaft 42. Preferably, the joint is constituted by a rubber sleeve 44 for holding the fan shaft 26, a cylindrical housing space 48 is provided in the rubber sleeve 44, and an inside diameter d1 of the housing space is slightly smaller than an outside diameter d2 of the drive shaft 42.
