Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a suction device which is small and easy to use and allows handy operation even on a carpet.
CONSTITUTION: The numeral 20 indicates a pair of drive wheels provided on the left and on the right of a suction port 14 and the outer circumferential surface thereof is made of an elastic material such as rubber material. The drive wheels 20 have the outer circumferential surface sticking out to the side of a floor surface from a lower suction device 13. One of the drive wheels 20 and a gear 19 are so arranged that the drive wheel 20 is mounted on the side of a rotor 16 and the gear 19 outside at the end of the rotor 16. The both are connected firmly with a shaft 21. The other drive wheel 20 is mounted at the other end of the rotor 16 and connected with the shaft 21. The numeral 22 indicates a bearing and both ends of the rotor 16 are held free to rotate through the shaft 21. The drive wheels 20 are made larger in the outer dimension than the gear 19 and mounted adjacent to the gear 19.
