PURPOSE: To obtain a suction and exhaust device for dust collection whose initial performance is maintained for a long period of time by controlling gas rate therein.

CONSTITUTION: In a suction and exhaust device for dust collection in which a work room 5 communicates with a forced exhaust part 7 equipped with an exhaust filter 9 at the lower part thereof, gas rate detecting means 12a, 12b, 12c are installed in an air flow passage 16, and also a control means 13 for controlling operating means 10, 11 of the exhaust part 7 by detecting signals from the detecting means 12a, 12b, 12c is provided.
