To provide a suction moving apparatus having an annular negative pressure region to reduce the area of the negative pressure region in the apparatus.

The suction moving apparatus includes: a main casing having at least outer and inner cylindrical partitions 21 and 22; an annular outer seat member 31 fitted to the opening of the outer cylindrical partition with one part brought into contact with an object surface; a plate-like inner seal member 32 fitted to the opening of the inner cylindrical partition with center part brought into contact with the object surface; and a movement means for maintaining the distance between the main casing and the object surface to be arbitrary distance. The main casing and the outer and inner seal members 31 and 32 cooperate with the object surface for forming the annular negative pressure region 11. Additionally, the nozzle port of a rotary nozzle unit 7 for jetting fluid such as high-pressure water and compressed air is provided inside the annular negative pressure region.
